Point Pelee National Park

Hey everyone! Happy September!

For my last weekend in Canada, I decided to go explore some of Ontario. It's a little ridiculous that I've lived almost my entire life in Ontario, Canada... and I've barely explored this province, much less this country!

So, when my mom asked me what I wanted to do over the Labour Day weekend, I said I wanted to go to a National Park. After narrowing down the choices, I decided that I really wanted to visit Point Pelee!

My outfit choice for the day were these cute pink printed shorts from Zara ($15 on sale, major score!) and my Mickey Mouse tank top. The pink cardigan was on and off throughout the day depending on how warm it felt/how many black flies wanted to bite me...

So here are some pictures of the marsh area and boardwalk.

Here's a picture of the point!

My flight to England is tomorrow at 5:30pm (Wednesday, September 4th!)... and I'm ridiculously excited. It's going to be an adventure of a lifetime, and to be perfectly honest, I'm really really looking forward to school as well. Perhaps my expectations are a little high, haha... but that's okay. It's my first time in Europe, and I think the British accents will positively charm me despite rainy gloomy weather.

Most of my friends have already started/finished their frosh weeks (craaaazy stuff) and mine doesn't begin until Thursday! Even my high school friends had their first day today! School is in full swing for almost everyone except me... THIS IS SO EXCITING.

Have a great year everyone! I think this is pretty fitting. Even if I'm heading off to have my own adventure, I hope y'all make the best of your year here and find little adventurous things of your own.

Casual Flowy Pants

Pants - xhiliration (Hand me down anyway)
Shirt - No tag
Cardigan - SWS (???)
 Shoes - Aldo

It is not okay to be this freezing cold. I stayed indoors all day, as a lovely lovely friend Vidhya came over to hang out and talk and such.... but I walked her out (forcing her to take pictures of me) then promptly went back inside to change into warmer winter-y clothes.

If it was a tad warmer though, I think it would have been absolutely perfect for going out shopping or something of the sort. The pants have such a breezy summer-y feel to them! Really should get myself a pair of harem pants, because I love feeling like I'm not wearing pants haha... which is why I'm in dresses as much as possible.

My friend is off to India tomorrow, and I so so wish I could travel as well this summer. It would be incredible if I could go to Korea, but alas probably not going to happen because of the awful financial situation I'm stuck in. But hey! This could be a really great airplane outfit as well. Comfy pants, comfy everything really (except the shoes, sort of).

It's the weekend, y'all! For me though, every day feels like a weekend because I have almost nothing to do. (This is not true; there are lots of things I could be doing but don't feel like doing - namely my G1 Test which I have put off for 2 years).

Have a lovely weekend! Hopefully the weather here in Mississauga picks up soon!

Red Navy Springtime

Skirt - Forever 21
Shirt - Garage
Boots - Crocs

I've been sewing shirts for show choir, learning some french (but not really), and watching too many episodes of Drop Dead Diva (Season 4). The trees in the background are lovely, and I wish I had some botanical knowledge to call trees by their actual names, not "trees". Have a lovely week y'all!

Coat-Worthy Coldness

Jeggings + T-Shirt - Garage
Coat - Urban Behaviour
Shoes - Crocs

The downside of posting this often, when my life isn't all that interesting, is that I have very little to write about... so I think, until I start writing (hopefully). Does this even make sense?

Winds of Uncertainty

Shirt - Garage
Dress shirt - stolen from Dad
Shorts - American Eagle
Shoes - GH Bass
Earrings - Etsy: Made by LinLin
Bag - Michael Kors

Some days are windy and rainy, and that's just life. There is nowhere with a perfect climate; even in tropical islands, the monsoon season will overwhelm the area with rains so thunderous, that its typical aura of paradise will be swept away.

And some pictures are wrong in all sorts of ways: awful hair blowing around everywhere, awkward positions of body parts. But I'm learning to appreciate the wealth I have, for being able to enjoy (too many) clothes and having an iPhone to embark on this fashion journey.
