Today was a really wonderful day because my HL History exam, which I've been complaining about studying for forever and ever, was really quite good (I hope!). But I didn't think it would be, so I pulled out an outfit that would make me feel like I looked good, even if I didn't feel so great (but I did! So just a lovely bonus, I suppose!).

Psychology is frustrating. Studying is frustrating. Sorry I'm such a Debbie downer; exams and studying is all that's been in my life. Oh and season 4 of Drop Dead Diva because it's fantastic and Season 5 is coming out in JUNE! I should really really wait until after exams, but I can't help it.

Ahh, tips for reducing exam stress? Especially when you're not ready and it's in 12 hours (but you need to sleep, so much much less time for studying than you need).

Sunshine Makes Studying Harder

Today was a lovely sunny day, so I grabbed a picnic blanket and tried to study outdoors. However, the weather was perfect and I just wanted to lounge around and rest and sleep and eat and read (for pleasure, not my psychology or history textbooks).

I'm technically cheating because this is not the outfit I wore today. I changed after school, though the shirt is still the same. But to my defense, it was much warmer than I thought it would be and I had an IB HL English exam today - so I was in a sweatshirt and jeans, hardly the classiest outfit.

I like the softness of this pastel blue boatneck t-shirt and the elegance of the A-line skirt. The bright bursts of colour in my flats and necklace make it just spring/summery enough to balance out the pitch black skirt.

I got froyo from Yogurtys today, and thought of IB English. Why do you do this to me?

Anyway, today was a lovely sunny day that I spent way too much of indoors studying, reading books about post-apocalyptic worlds. I thought maybe tomorrow I'll dress with inspiration from these books (Oryx and Crake, The Road, Tales of Firozsha Baag) but then I decided against it because I have no Parsi clothing and dressing like the first two would be absolutely dismal.

I have my HL English Paper 1 Exam tomorrow morning, and so I don't really feel like writing much. I might post pictures but the next week will be quite straining. So much studying, doing exams. And then I'm done high school! Okay bye!
